You’re Full of It!

You all know and experience it. In fact it’s everywhere…From the help desk intern to the latest “reason” why your kid did whatever it was they weren’t suppose to do, you find it all around you. You can’t escape it, you can’t conquer it. So either you embrace it or fight against it. Me? I fight against it. So when I found my newest tool to fight the good fight, it was a miracle. Enter The Bullshit Detector, a weapon in the fight against the bullshit that surrounds us everyday!

You know I’m funnin’, but I did find this App and it’s worth a check out. These days when fun can be had for 99 cents, I usually don’t hesitate to get apps that peak my interest. So it was easy to find this fun little gem since my personality says “I am never serious and always sarcastic”. To be honest, it felt like the team at Panda Cub Productions built this app with me in mind.

The Bullshit Detector, or BSD if you’re an expert, is a fun little piece that let’s you tap a button to expose the BS around you for what it is. And that was where I had the most success around my friends. I would lie and tell them that the device would record their voice and judge the validity of their words. With a little slight of hand I would push one of the buttons on the BSD interface. Blue for an auto “Total Bullshit” or the big red button for a random reading. The latter button makes it sorta work like the old retro “Magic 8-ball” we all remember. However, the most fun I had with it was at my Pathfinder table. After selling a couple friends on it, I had BSD open behind my GM screen. Every once in a while when someone would say something, I would hit the button. So when Ryan rolled his natty 20, I hit the blue button, informing the table of the total bullshit that was going on in the game. ;p

Great graphical interface and whimsical charm make this app a cool find. Especially for a paltry dollar. Nice Geiger Counter type gauge and clean buttons and read out; coupled with good coding and application make this one of the better, fun apps around. So join the fight, grab your Bullshit Detector and spread the word that we will not let any bullshit go unnoticed! BSD!
